Getting to Brickworks: we are a 2 minute walk from Crouch Hill overground station; a 10 minute walk from Finsbury Park tube/overground station; the W7 bus stop opposite the centre is Shaftesbury Road and on the centre side the W7 bus stop is Crouch Hill Station .

Room hire: we provide a discounted rate to community members who live in the postcode N4/N19 within a one-mile radius.

In addition to plastic chairs (160) and soft seating (30), we can supply 7 rectangular tables (183cm in length) and 7 round tables (153cm across). If you hire our projectors, laptops or PA system, we charge £5 per item.

Alcohol can be consumed on the premises – but it cannot be sold, as we do not have a liquor licence.

There is free Wi-Fi.

Subject to availability, our hiring times are: Monday-Friday: 8am to 10pm. Saturday: 8am to 11pm (music needs to be off by 10pm). Sunday: 8am to 6pm.

All our rooms are wheelchair-accessible. We have disabled toilets and a platform lift. A member of staff is on-site during all events.

Main hall

Our large main hall is suitable for parties, wedding receptions and celebrations, as well as seminars, performances and conferences. It is mainly available on Saturdays.

Capacity: 150 people standing; 120 seated. This is the largest space available at the centre, with impressive high ceilings, springboard flooring and adjustable lights. It can also can be partitioned to be changed into 2 smaller halls to suit your needs.

Area: 152 sq m

Event types: celebrations, theatre groups, sports, weddings, religious events, concerts, performances, rehearsals, workshops, film shoots and funeral services.

Price:

Halls 1 and 2 (Weekends): £80 per hour community rate and £90 per hour non-community rate.

Hall 1 (Weekdays): £30 per hour community rate and £45 per hour non-community rate.

Hall 2 (Weekdays): £40 per hour community rate and £55 per hour non-community rate.

Saturday Hire (Afternoon – 11pm) £600 community rate and £700 non-community rate.

Marie Heywood roof garden room

A bright first-floor room which opens onto our secluded roof garden.

The Marie Heywood roof garden room holds 60 people standing and 40 seated. There’s lots of natural light from the windows, a small kitchen area and an amazing garden space.

Event types: parties, religious events, workshops, training, film shoots and funeral services.

Area: 47 sq m

Price: £50 per hour community rate and £60 per hour non-community rate.

Meeting room

A professional and modern room with table and chairs to arrange as you see fit. An ideal place for seminars and small get-togethers.

Capacity: the room comfortably accommodates up to 25 people.

Event types: meetings, workshops, training, playgroups.

Area: 24 sq m

Price:£30 per hour community rate and £35 per hour non-community.

Community meeting room

A practical and modern room with a table and chairs.

Capacity: 2-4 people.

Main use: one-to-one meetings, a quiet work area.

Area: 6 sq m

Price: £10 per hour community rate and £15 per hour non-community.

Therapy room 1

The therapy room is a warm, yet professional, quiet environment. It has a massage bed with adjustable height and chairs.

Capacity: up to 2 people.

Main use: massage, holistic therapy and counselling.

Area: 6 sq m

Price: £10 per hour community rate and £15 per hour non-community.

Kitchen

The kitchen is set to a professional catering standard.

It has stainless steel worktops, with 2 large sinks, 6 ring electric cooker and fan-assisted oven. The kitchen can cater for a range of events from small meetings to a fully catered wedding.

Price: £10 per hour community rate and £10 per hour non-community.

Please note: a booking form must be completed before your booking is approved. Please ask at reception for a form.

A deposit of £200 is required to confirm the booking. If the hirer cancels the booking, this deposit is non-refundable.

The facilities are not generally available for hire on Sundays.
