The Foodbank

Helping local families with nutritious food and community support.

We’re grateful for the support of an Islington Giving grant.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been awarded a grant of £2,500 from Islington Giving through their Islington Food Fund. This generous funding will go directly towards supporting our foodbank services and helping those in our community who are most in need.

A heartfelt thank you to Islington Giving for their continued commitment to tackling local poverty and food insecurity. Grants like this make a real difference, and we’re proud to be one of the recipients.

A Lifeline for Our Community in Times of Need

We have always provided food for those in need, but we went into overdrive during the pandemic. So many people needed support and we were happy to work with other community groups to provide it.

The foodbank has become the fifth emergency service for many residents; it is a commitment to the community which provides a regular supply of food, so that people don’t have to choose between eating and heating.

There is no stigma attached to this service, which brings together people from all walks of life.
